AYRES BARRY: Born 26/7/65, Battersea. Junior rider with Belle Vue who was
given a chance with Monarchs early in 1984, but dropped out when Rob Grant
came for short loan spell. Mode a surprise reappearance for a couple of
league matches in 1987, deputising for Phil Jeffrey. Also rode for Glasgow,
and again displayed a liking for surprise comebacks when he did some meetings
for Buxton in the 1996 Conference league.
