BLACKBIRD MARK: Born 17/12/70, Peterborough. Second Blackbird brother, signed as a
tail-ender with potential for the 1990 season. Unfortunately the team lacked strength, and the
introduction of brother Carl meant Mark lost his place. Very disappointed, he decided to move on
to Milton Keynes prior to the league campaign rather than wait for another chance. With the
benefit of hindsight, he probably should have been kept in the side. Later rode for Long Eaton
and Oxford.
