AMBROSE, PHIL: Born 15/1/82, Ashford, Kent. More a grasstrack than speedway
rider, Phil impressed at junior level over a number of years from 1997 and
was a considered choice as stand-in reserve for the second leg of the KO
Cup Final at Arena-Essex in 1999. A couple of good rides early in the
meeting helped us towards success and earned him a medal.
