SCOTTISH OPEN CELEBRATIONS

The Scottish Open is a special event which has retained its prestige even though individual meetings in general are not all that popular, and have become much harder to stage than they once were. For the winners, it is still a special feeling to receive the Jack Young Memorial Trophy, and few over the years have been happier than the 2006 winner, Berwick's Stanislaw Burza. The Polish star had a special group of fans from his home country supporting him, and this made the post-meeting pictures very happy ones - in fact the vast majority of the crowd were delighted to see such an outstanding and deserved winner.
